- Al's grip on the NBA Pick One Challenge lessened once again on this day. After setting a low bar with Oklahoma City's Jalen Williams the day prior, he only needed 24 hours to limbo under it with Portland's Shaedon Sharpe. The Blazers not only lost to the Grizzlies, but the seventh overall pick only produced 8 RBPRA for our current leader.
- Both Colin and Lou tried to see what Russell Westbrook had in store as a reserve rather than a starter against the Pelicans. Not only would Los Angeles win their second game of the campaign in OT, but Russ would have his best shooting game thus far and finish with 29 PRA.
- Trae Young couldn't exactly shut up MSG all by himself on the night. He had some help that will talked about very shortly, but even on an off night he was able to accrue 30 PRA for Trevor in a win for the Hawks over the Knicks.
- The early season misery continues to be piled on the Philadelphia 76ers, this time from Ryan's pick Bradley Beal and the Washington Wizards. Washington's centerpiece player had 36 PRA in the win despite attempting just two three-pointers, his second lowest total of the season.
- But our top scorer was the Last Man In for the night. New Orleans' Zion Williamson led his side in scoring against the Lakers and led Matt to the daily gold medal with 39 PRA.
- As alluded to earlier, our optimal play came from the Hawks in the form of Dejounte Murray. The offseason-acquired guard scored a career-high 36 points and triggered the 5x5 provision with 5 steals to finish overall with a score of 55 in victory.
