- Most of the night's games ended in lopsided scorelines, but that didn't necessarily translate to huge scores in the Pick One.
- For instance, Ryan's pick Matisse Thybulle was on the wrong end of one of those boxscores. He was the only Philadelphia starter not to score against Charlotte and only grabbed three boards for a 3 PRA night.
- In one of the closer matchups of the lot, Trevor's selection Keita Bates-Diop had just 19 PRA as the Spurs fell to in-state rivals Houston.
- Colin and Lou went with Chicago's star tandem of Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan respectively. Neither man had a terrible game but tallies of 29 and 24 against Brooklyn fall vastly below the lofty expectations usually carried for the duo.
- Matt won't be putting us further in the dirt in January after Luka Doncic was unable to make it three Triple Double Downs on the trot for our game leader. He fell five assists short on a night where Dallas shot 21.6% from three-point range, finishing with 37 PRA in a losing effort against New York.
- Our lone rookie selector for the evening ended up taking home top score. Al got a rookie-boosted 54 PRA from Day'Ron Sharpe making his first career NBA start in place of the injured Nicolas Claxton. He is the third different Nets rookie to be picked in 2021-22 tying them with Houston and Indiana for the second-most unique rookie selections in the Pick One (Oklahoma City, 4).
- Optimally, only Matt or Ryan could have taken Evan Mobley and his rookie-boosted 64 PRA. The bench bargains were both over 40 PRA with Tyler Herro pacing the vets with 41 and Austin Reaves repping the rookies with a rookie-boosted 44 PRA.
