- Two-thirds of the night's picks came from the final game of the evening between the Lakers and the Nets.
- Our two outliers though both selected the same person. Both Colin and Trevor selected Chicago's Zach LaVine against the Nuggets. Although his Bulls lost, LaVine led his side in scoring and took home the day's silver medal with 30 PRA.
- The Last Man In worked double time on this night with each team in the final game getting representation through the provision. Unfortunately for Lou, he got the second step and the short straw with Brooklyn's Nicolas Claxton who finished with just 13 PRA.
- That was because he had already taken LA's Lonnie Walker IV. Walker continued his consistent "points and not much else" blueprint with 25 of his 26 PRA being earned for Matt (via LMI) and Al (via organic pick) through points.
- Kevin Durant took home top scorer honors for the evening netting Ryan 47 PRA in the process. KD has never scored fewer than 30 PRA during a selection in any of the three proper years of the Pick One Challenge.
- Optimally, had we taken our eyes away from the late games we could have gone with a generational performance from Joel Embiid. The Sixers big man had 59 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists with a 5x5 bonus of 8 (7 blocks, 1 steal) to finish on an absurd 76 PRA in a victory over Utah.
