- Just three of the nine games for the evening saw usage with just four teams being used.
- Two of those came from the same game. Matt's Last Man In Darius Bazley went for 22 PRA as Oklahoma City continued to be winless on the road against Al's pick Paul George (48 PRA) and the equally struggling Clippers.
- Tying George for the best output of the evening for a selected veteran was Ryan's pick Cole Anthony. Seeing his 31/9/8 stat line against Minnesota has to be a bit infuriating to previous pickers though as his 48 PRA nearly broke the mark set by his previous two days' selections combined.
- Tying Bazley for being named Darius was Colin and Trevor's pick Darius Garland. None of the Cleveland perimeter players got out of first gear in this one, despite winning in the end, and the third-year man ended the night with 23 PRA.
- But while Cleveland's guards faltered, the big men picked up the slack with one of them being our top scorer of the day, Lou's selection Evan Mobley. The third overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft went for a rookie boosted 56 PRA, the best total for a rookie so far in Cleveland's victory and got Lou out of the Pick One basement.
- Optimally, Cole Anthony's teammate Franz Wagner would have been your prime target. He had a rookie boosted 68 PRA against Minnesota without committing a single turnover. For veterans, you saw the best of the lot above. In terms of Bench Bargains, we strayed a bit off the beaten path for both the rookie and veteran as neither had made significant impacts before last night. Chicago's Ayo Dosunmu (RB 40 PRA) and Philly's Georges Niang (31 PRA) were both massive keys in their teams' respective victories.
