- Of the five games on the Halloween evening, only Pistons/Nets went without a selection from it.
- Things didn't start off too great for our pickers as the first two players taken on the schedule went for under 20 PRA. Colin fell to third place with his disappointing 17 PRA from Gordon Hayward while Lou is now in possession of the low rookie tally thus far with a rookie boosted 18 PRA from Sacramento's Davion Mitchell.
- I hate to keep bringing up these stupid parallels but Carmelo and Cole Anthony are both now on four selections apiece after Trevor and Matt picked the Lakers' sixth man. They each got 26 PRA from the future Hall of Famer in LA's win over the Rockets.
- Speaking of that name parallelism, the second D. Mitchell selected on the day did a bit better than the first. Ryan's selection of Utah's Donovan Mitchell netted him one half of our first joint top score of the season with 34 PRA. He had to do his work the old fashioned way against the Bucks while Al's pick, Houston rookie Jalen Green, only had to go half that distance to get his rookie-boosted 34 PRA against the Lakers.
- Optimally, LaMelo Ball's near triple-double (43 PRA) would have been the way to go in Charlotte's win over Portland. A different Rockets rookie, Alperen Sengun, was your rookie Bench Bargain with a rookie-boosted 40 PRA in LA while Ball's teammate Kelly Oubre Jr. was your veteran with 38 PRA.
