- As per the usual in this Challenge the night owls ruled the roost. All but one of the selections made came from the final game of the evening.
- To be fair though, two of those came via Last Man In Steven Adams. The Grizzlies center double-doubled for Matt and Lou in his club's win over the Kings finishing on 27 PRA.
- Ryan's pick Domantas Sabonis was one assist away from a triple-double in that same game. The Kings big man finished with 31 PRA in the loss.
- For the second straight day Colin was hard-done by an inexplicable late scratch for a young player. But this time he was able to pivot to another player instead of taking the Last Man In leftovers. That pivot was to Sacramento's De'Aaron Fox who softened the blow of the late change with 35 PRA for our current overall silver medalist.
- The lone rookie selected for the evening also came from the Kings in the form of Trevor's pick Keegan Murray. Making his first start in the purple and white, the Iowa product had 48 RBPRA playing a team-high 39 minutes.
- But our top scorer was our only outlier from Kings/Grizzlies, Kyrie Irving. Al returned by his lonesome to the top score summit with 50 PRA from the Nets point guard who led his side in scoring in an early-season overtime classic with the Mavericks.
- Optimally, it was the gunslinger from the other side in that one bringing the best possible score to the duel. Luka Doncic triple-doubled for a massive 66 PRA showing in the win, Dallas' first on the road in the young campaign.
