- There were five games to choose from for our six pickers and oddly enough the late game, Denver/Utah, was the only one that went untouched.
- You know it is a bad night for the 76ers when Furkan Korkmaz is taking the second most shots on your team, so Lou could not have been too surprised to see Seth Curry show up in the box score with just 7 PRA to keep him in the Pick One cellar.
- Derrick White did just enough to keep Colin in first and Trevor off the bottom of the leaderboard, but in retrospect with just 18 PRA there were easily five better choices for San Antonio selections against the shorthanded Lakers.
- Joining Colin in the land of 200+ PRA were a pair of Thunder backers in Al with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Matt with the first rookie pick of 2021-22, Josh Giddey. SGA went for 35 PRA in the defeat to Golden State while the Aussie Giddey put up a rookie boosted 40 PRA alongside Gilgeous-Alexander in the starting five.
- And while he may be back in the thick of things after the Davis Bertans fiasco, Ryan fell just short of blowing things wide open with Luka Doncic. Ryan put up top score with the Slovenian supernova with 47 PRA but also used his Triple Double Down for October. That means if Doncic would have accumulated three more assists that point value would have been tripled and would have shot him up to over 300 PRA with only four people having the TDD left for the month. In reality, he climbs back up to sole possession of third place.
- Optimally your best pick would have came in the form of the Lakers' Anthony Davis who shined in LeBron James' absence with 56 PRA just ahead of teammate Russell Westbrook (51). For Bench Bargain, we go back to the statement earlier about how the better Spurs options than Derrick White with the best outside of the starting five being Lonnie Walker IV who went for 29 PRA.
