- Every once in a while you get that day where everybody wins. This was one of those days.
- The Last Man In provision came into play for both Lou (to the shock of nobody) and Matt (to the shock of some) but on this day it didn't leave them in the lurch. Phoenix's Deandre Ayton was the assignment from the LMI gods who finished with 35 PRA in the Suns' OT loss to Portland.
- Using the rookie bonus to finish just a hair ahead of them was Trevor with Detroit's Jalen Duren. One of two Pistons rookies taken on the day, the Memphis product fell just shy of his second straight double-double to finish of 36 RBPRA against the Knicks.
- Tyrese Haliburton was the second and final veteran selection on the night as the Pacers took on the Spurs. Ryan benefited from the high-scoring affair as the dynamic point guard netted him a 42 PRA double-double even though Indiana would fall short on their home court.
- Al made Jaden Ivey his second rookie taken for 2022-23 and the second Pistons freshman for the day. Like his compatriot Duren, the fifth overall pick fell just shy of a double-double to earn our overall leader a robust 56 RBPRA despite losing to the Knicks.
- But for the second time this season, #1 overall pick Paolo Banchero was the top overall and optimal scorer in the Pick One Challenge. This time it was Colin reaping the rewards of the Magic forward going for 68 RBPRA in Orlando's defeat to Atlanta.
