- Al has set himself for an unsustainable pace of picking players with first names beginning with C and the last name Anthony after following up Carmelo on Opening Night with Orlando's Cole Anthony against the Spurs. The younger of two Anthony's fared better than the elder with 19 PRA.
- Lou may have wished he took the same route as Al as after also taking Carmelo Anthony on night one, went with Myles Turner instead on the second night. He was only able to muster 17 PRA as the Pacers fell apart in the second half and eventually fell to the Hornets.
- Ryan maintained overall top score, but was only fourth best on the day as Kemba Walker only took eight shots over six periods of basketball between the Knicks and Celtics ending on 21 PRA.
- Next up was Colin who felt the need to go with a west coast player while being on the west coast. Aaron Gordon rewarded the synergy with 24 PRA against the defending Western Conference Champion Suns which pushed him into second place overall.
- Matt and Trevor may be tied for third overall after two days, but only one could have the day's top score. Both Saddiq Bey (Matt) and Christian Wood (Trevor) had nine rebounds, but a slight scoring edge to the Rocket forward gave him a 28-26 edge on the evening for the honors.
- Optimally, Jaylen Brown's return to the Celtics lineup was one to remember as he went for 61 PRA in their double overtime defeat. In terms of Bench Bargains, if you went the veteran route Montrezl Harrell would have been the way to go getting himself 32 PRA off the Washington bench as the Wizards smashed Toronto. For a rookie, Houston's Alperen Sengun would have got you a rookie boosted 38 PRA in Houston's loss to Minnesota.
