- Three game cancellations threw over half the field into disarray heading into an evening of games that already in many instances were being played with skeleton crew rosters.
- One team that is completely back to full strength is the NBA-leading Phoenix Suns and Colin's pick Terry Rozier felt the wrath of that on this night. The only thing scary about Terry was his stat line as he finished with only 7 PRA and got less game time than backup Ish Smith in a blowout defeat.
- Last Man In Mikal Bridges led all Suns starters in minutes in that game netting Lou a cool 25 PRA in the process.
- Three of the four remaining participants went with somebody from the Bulls/Lakers game as the former started getting some of their players back from COVID protocols. The odd man out was our current game leader who went with D'Angelo Russell against Dallas. He probably would have liked to have kept his streak of using rookies alive but alas it was not meant to be and 27 PRA from DLo was what he got. Only Lou has the T'Wolves point guard left at his disposal.
- Of the three who went Bulls/Lakers, only Ryan went with a Laker. That man was the returning Isaiah Thomas whose encore to a stellar return to the NBA wasn't awful but wasn't spectacular in a loss. 16 PRA in a scramble though could have been a lot worse.
- After seeing two rookie selections fall to the hands of game postponement, Trevor went with Alex Caruso making a spot start for the healthier yet still undermanned Bulls. A solid 28 PRA from the guard was the second highest total for the night.
- But, that top score went to the man who Trevor recently passed in the standings, Al, with Nikola Vucevic. Taking full advantage of a Anthony Davis-less backline for the Lakers, Vucevic double-doubled for 34 PRA in the victory.
- Optimally, seeing LeBron James with 51 PRA on a shortened schedule doesn't open many eyes. However, the Bench Bargains of Sacramento's Damian Jones (32 PRA) and San Antonio's Jock Landale (rookie-boosted 18 PRA) surely do.
