- There were a couple of notable firsts in the RB By Committee Pick One in Week 7.
- One of them was not Aaron Jones' performance for the Packers against the Commanders. Plenty of running backs selected through seven weeks have outshone themselves through the air rather than on the ground. That is exactly what Trevor's pick did in this one catching nine balls for 53 yards and 2 TD's while rushing for just 23 in defeat.
- Buddy moved himself within seven yards of pulling himself out of the basement with 39 yards from New England's Rhamondre Stevenson on Monday Night Football. The Pats RB also scored one of his team's two TD's against Chicago. Stevenson was the first AFC East selection, the final division to get a pick from it.
- Falling to second place after a 57 yard outing from Ezekiel Elliott was Ryan. Dallas' lead man was only second-best to Tony Pollard yardage-wise against the Lions but did punch it in twice as the Cowboys won comfortably.
- Our first quarterback of 2022 came off the board with Jeff moving into the overall lead thanks to Chicago's Justin Fields. The second-year signal caller ran for 82 yards in the Bears' win over the Patriots on Monday Night Football.
- Only Buddy has Nick Chubb left at his disposal after Scott got 91 yards from the Browns All-Pro running back. He has yet to be kept out of the end zone during a selection this season.
- But our top scorer for the week, and first two-time top scorer in the RB By Committee Pick One Challenge, was Houston rookie Dameon Pierce. Rachel's pick went for 92 yards against Las Vegas and with the rookie bonus made it 2-for-2 in turning selections into top scores at 122 overall.
- Optimally, Seattle rookie Kenneth Walker III had himself an afternoon against the Chargers. He ran for 168 and 2 scores against Los Angeles and with the rookie bonus would have netted a backer a score of 198.
