- The final bye week of the NFL season was a war of attrition with injuries and ineffectiveness running rampant throughout the QB Club Pick One Challenge.
- Rachel got the worst of it on Monday Night Football with Arizona's Kyler Murray. The Cardinals QB tore his ACL on the third play of the game netting just 9 passing yards before his unfortunate exit.
- It would have been even worse for Jeff had he not selected a rookie. Kenny Pickett was knocked out of Pittsburgh's game with the Ravens with a concussion with zero passing yards on the books. The rookie bonus of 50 put him in the cellar in terms of rookie selections for the year, but he avoided the final slot on the Week 14 leaderboard.
- In that same contest, game leader Al saw his selection Tyler Huntley also go out with a concussion. To make matters worse, he used his final rushing bonus of the season to pull the Ravens QB up to just 119 yards for the week.
- Carolina rushed the ball nearly twice as many times as they threw it with Sam Darnold under center against the Seahawks. That spelled doom for Scott who tossed for 120 yards despite being on the winning side.
- The Panthers' old quarterback bested Derek Carr and the Raiders on Thursday Night Football. Carr threw two picks in the defeat and earned Buddy only 137 yards in the process.
- Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy was actually quite relevant in both the Challenge and against Tampa Bay. With the rookie bonus he ended up with a score of 235 for Colin, Lenny, and Ryan and forced the network to take the game off the air when his 49ers went up 35-0 on the collective temper tantrum-throwing Buccaneers.
- Team Sieczkiewicz got a much-needed good week under their belts as they finished in the latter two spots of the weekly medal stand. Matt got 247 yards from Denver's Russell Wilson to land in third while Brittany got 254 from Tennessee's Ryan Tannehill to take the Week 14 silver.
- But despite being knocked out of the game twice with spears that would make Goldberg blush, Jets quarterback Mike White took home the top score of the week against Buffalo. Trevor saw the New York's third different man at the helm in 2022 throw for 268 yards on the day.
- Optimally, seven of our participants could have benefited from 425 yards from Kirk Cousins in Minnesota's shock loss to the Lions.
