- Barring some huge performances, the majority may be playing for no more than second place. However, a couple of duds could significantly impact the other end of the RB By Committee challenge standings.
- After spending a month and change out of the financial relegation zone, Buddy found himself square back in the crosshairs of last place after a 17 yard outing from Jacksonville's Travis Etienne Jr. on Saturday against the Titans.
- Both overall leader Jeff as well as Trevor tried to go a bit outside of the box rookie-wise with the Jets' Zonovan Knight. That quirkiness was met with the second-lowest rookie output of the campaign, a rookie-boosted score of 52 versus Miami in an ugly loss.
- Escaping the basement was Ryan thanks to Detroit's Jamaal Williams. 72 yards and 2 scores on Sunday Night Football wasn't enough to get the Lions to the postseason, but it was enough to give Ryan some double-pay breathing room entering the playoffs.
- The other rookie taken in Week 18 was Scott's pick James Cook. With Buffalo giving several players most of the final game against New England to rest, Cook had a rookie-boosted score of 75 in the win. Not great in a vacuum, but it kept Scott in second place nevertheless.
- And staying right behind him in the overall standings but ahead for the week was Rachel with Cam Akers. The Rams RB was the only selection to break 100 yards, rushing for 104 against the Seahawks.
- Optimally, half of the field could have ridden off into the playoff sunset with a rookie-boosted 165 yards from Atlanta's Tyler Allgeier had they so been inclined.
