- Las Vegas had a week they want to bury in the darkest recesses of their collective mind. Derek Carr had one of the worst games of his career netting Colin and Jeff just 101 yards as the Raiders were shut out for the first time in 8 years by the Saints.
- At least Houston is aware that they are a team looking to be at the bottom of the standings. Trevor was at least hoping that Davis Mills could get more than 152 yards with garbage time against the Titans but it stayed close enough for that hope to be dashed.
- Sam Ehlinger didn't throw an interception in his Colts debut against the Commanders. However, he didn't throw a touchdown either in the loss and gained Lenny only 201 yards for Week 8.
- She may no longer be directly chasing her husband in the standings, but Brittany lowered her threshold for exiting the financial relegation zone to four yards after 203 from Aaron Rodgers against the Bills on Sunday Night Football.
- Buddy went with the steady hand of Geno Smith against the Giants. The Seattle quarterback threw for 212 and two touchdowns in the win that rose them to the top of the NFC West.
- Halloween was significantly more trick than treat for Joe Burrow against the Browns. Rachel and Scott did have the benefit of nearly a quarter and a half of meaningless football from Burrow though where he more than doubled his passing yardage to the final haul of 232.
- Besting his AFC North rival in that one was Matt's pick Jacoby Brissett. The Browns QB threw for 278 yards on Monday Night Football, the most he's tossed for since he had 319 for the Colts against the Titans in 2019.
- But our top scorers for the week are now are first and third place participants respectively, Al and Ryan, with Tua Tagovailoa. Miami now has two quarterbacks in the top score pantheon (Teddy Bridgewater in Week 6) after the lefty threw for 382 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Dolphins saw off the Lions 31-27. That 382 yards through the air was the optimal score for the week as well.
