- There were two bouts of parallel thinking in Week 12 among NFC West running backs while there was a huge gulf between the two AFC West selections. All six selections played one another.
- Austin Ekeler continues to make the argument that there should be potential receiving yards bonuses for running backs in the 2023 iteration of the RB By Committee Pick One Challenge. Ekeler tripled his rushing total (20 rushing v. 60 receiving) through the air against the Cardinals and was outrushed by his quarterback Justin Herbert (38 yards).
- Trevor and Scott saw their selections score two touchdowns against the Raiders. However, Kenneth Walker III only had 26 rushing yards for Seattle with the rookie bonus helping to more than double his total for Week 12.
- Falling just short to Ekeler's Chargers was Buddy and Rachel's selection James Conner. He made his Pick One debut in style rushing for 120 yards, a total which made Rachel the second person to surpass 1000 total rushing yards for 2022.
- However, the first person to eclipse that milestone got his second 200+ rushing yard week of the season. Jeff got an optimal 229 yards, including an 86-yard walkoff touchdown, from Las Vegas' Josh Jacobs to put the gap between himself and second place at 254 yards entering the later stage bye weeks.
