- We've reached the halfway point of the 2022 NFL season and still have plenty of questions unanswered when it comes to who is going to have standout second halves of the campaign.
- One thing that is coming close to being a certainty is that the Rams probably won't repeat as Super Bowl champions. As Colin saw firsthand in Week 9, Matthew Stafford is not the same QB this year. Los Angeles' signal caller had just 165 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' loss to the Buccaneers. The poor showing also put Colin into the financial relegation zone.
- Five of our eleven participants needed Monday Night Football options. Three picked Andy Dalton and two went with Lamar Jackson. Jackson won both the matchup on the field and in the Pick One. Matt, Rachel, and Ryan got 210 and a touchdown from the Red Rifle while the rushing yard additions turned Jackson's otherwise nondescript 133 yard night into a score of 215 for Brittany and Lenny.
- Scott joined Colin as the only other man to make a selection all for himself in Week 9. He went with Los Angeles' other QB, Justin Herbert as the Chargers took on the Falcons. In a game so riveting that I had to go check the scores page three times just to make sure the Chargers actually played the Falcons and I wasn't just making up a game in my head, Herbert threw for 245 yards en route to a team victory and a weekly silver medal for or current overall silver medalist.
- But while Monday Night had a plethora of double and triple-ups, the top score of the week came in the form of a quadruple selection of Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers. Things didn't go particularly well for the two-time defending MVP, he did throw for 291 yards against the Lions which propelled Al, Buddy, Jeff, and Trevor to the top of the Week 9 heap.
- Optimally, Patrick Mahomes needed overtime to get his Chiefs past the Titans on Sunday Night Football. That extra session gave him more time to put up 446 yards and a touchdown.
