- We had our first clipped wing of 2022 as Ryan's pick Jimmy Garoppolo broke his foot on the last play of San Francisco's opening drive against the Dolphins. He had 56 yards leading up to a Robbie Gould field goal.
- Compounding the grossness of picking Deshaun Watson in the first place, Trevor only got 131 yards from the returning Browns quarterback as Cleveland did the majority of their scoring on the defensive side of the ball against Watson's old club, Houston.
- Scott saw the gap between himself and the top of the table widen significantly after Trevor Lawrence had a day to forget against Detroit's normally porous defense. Last year's #1 pick had just 179 yards passing despite being down for almost the entirety of the contest.
- Thursday Night Football claimed another victim, this one being Matt with New England's Mac Jones. A week after tying the season-high total, Jones crashed back down to Earth had with almost half of that yardage, 195 to be exact, in a loss to Buffalo.
- Last Man In usage crept into the NFL Pick One Challenge for the first time this season as both Brittany and Colin used the provision to draw Andy Dalton. They received 229 yards from the Red Rifle in a loss to Tampa Bay on Monday Night Football.
- Moving up one spot in the standings was Lenny thanks to Cincinnati's Joe Burrow. The Bengals won another instant classic with the Chiefs as Burrow tossed for 286 yards and 2 touchdowns in the thrilling victory.
- Our top two scores of the day both came from double selections. The silver medal for Week 13 went to Al and Rachel who each got 335 yards from LA's Justin Herbert in a losing effort to the Raiders.
- But our top score went to the pair of Buddy and Jeff with Detroit's Jared Goff. The Lions recent offensive renaissance has come with Goff being better (shocking, I know) and against the Jaguars he threw for 340 yards, his second-highest total of the season behind the 378 he threw in the 48-45 launch party with Seattle.
- Optimally, a little under half of the field could have earned themselves 380 yards passing from Philadelphia's Jalen Hurts. We'll just chalk it up to saving the QB of the 11-1 Eagles to the postseason.
