- Let's just say the rich got richer in an otherwise piss poor Week 9 here on the NFL Pick One Challenge.
- Kait registered the worst rookie total to date as even though Mac Jones and the Patriots defeated the Panthers convincingly, he only had a rookie-boosted score of 189 through the air.
- At least Kait fell on that sword by her lonesome. Three people (Matt S., Brittany, & Greg) felt the sting of the backup of medical expert Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love. The second year man did manage to outpass Patrick Mahomes in their matchup, but still only managed 190 yards in an eventual loss.
- Scott's pick Dak Prescott was able to break 200 passing yards, 232 to be exact, but his Cowboys saw their winning streak come to an embarrassing halt at the hands of the Broncos.
- Then we come to Monday Night Football, an oft-neglected game on our Pick One calendar. However, we had some forgetful folks this week that made this controversial encounter filled with ignominy. Ben Roethlisberger was able to get over the 200 yard mark (205) on the Steelers' game-winning drive but wasn't outstanding for Trevor & Colin. But that isn't the bad part. That would be that Matt F. is now back in last because he didn't have either of the starters at his disposal and had to take a punt with Pittsburgh backup Mason Rudolph, hoping for an injury that never came. Break Glass Lists save lives folks.
- It wasn't all doom and gloom on MNF though as Al used his fourth rookie of the season to good effect with Justin Fields recording a rookie-boosted 341 in defeat. The next highest rookie usage has come from Greg with three.
- Both optimally and in terms of top score, much to the chagrin of every other participant, Ryan had the best possible selection of the afternoon with LA's Justin Herbert. 356 yards and three TDs from the second-year man, 300 more than Ryan's last pick, allowed our leader to stretch the gap between himself and second place to over 150 yards.
