- We had two first in the Receiving Corps Pick One Challenge this week, yet neither was able to pull down the top score.
- Ryan's rough week across the Pick One landscape concludes with Minnesota's Justin Jefferson. After nine and six receptions in his first two contests, the two-time Pro Bowler only pulled down three for only 14 yards in the Vikings' win over the Lions.
- Cincinnati's Pick One triforce was completed for Buddy with Ja'Marr Chase. But similarly to his LSU brethren, it wasn't a banner week for the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year netting just 29 receiving yards against the Jets.
- Our first tight end of the Receiving Corps Challenge came off the board as Trevor chose Kansas City's Travis Kelce. The big man did get into the end zone in the Chiefs' loss to the Colts, but only caught half of his targets for 58 yards.
- Lenny more than 6x'ed his score for the season with 85 yards from Philadelphia's AJ Brown. He may not have reached the heights of his optimal scoring teammate, but it was a much-needed respite from the putrid performances Lenny had from his selections the first two weeks of the campaign.
- The second first of Week 3 was a rookie in New York's Garrett Wilson. The Ohio State product brought forth the first rookie bonus of 2022 putting that 25 boost onto his 60 yards against the Bengals to put Scott on 85 for the week.
- Second place for the week as well as overall is where Jeff stands after 97 receiving yards from Denver's Courtland Sutton. The first pass catcher to be used twice in two different weeks had the most yards of any player from either side in Sunday Night's dismal 11-10 final.
- But for the second straight week it was Miami on top, this time via Rachel's pick Jaylen Waddle. The Dolphins wideout caught four balls for 102 yards in a win over the Bills including a 45 yarder on 3rd & 22 that would help set up the game winning touchdown, butt punt be damned.
- Optimally, as alluded to earlier Philadelphia's DeVonta Smith had himself one hell of a breakout game against the Commanders. He racked up a career-high 169 yards and his first touchdown of the season in the 24-8 victory.
