- Teams are beginning to be mathematically eliminated from the expanded NFL Playoffs fast now so don't forget to use those QBs or lose them.
- Denver moved closer to being one of those teams with their loss to Las Vegas no thanks to Kait's selection Drew Lock passing for just 153 yards and no touchdowns.
- Al is in second place in the standings, but he was second from the bottom in Week 16 as Russell Wilson's chance at the postseason ended with just 181 passing yards and a loss to the Bears.
- Miami/New Orleans was one of the more putrid Monday Night Football games the league has put forward in quite some time. Greg and Matt F.'s pick Ian Book, the sixth different rookie taken in 2021, was fed to the wolves for the listless Saints and needed the rookie bonus to get up to a score of 185.
- A trio of participants made Nick Foles the third different Bears quarterback taken in the Pick One. Only Carolina has duplicated that feat but to a much crappier tune. Big Dick Nick couldn't save the Bears season but he killed Seattle's with 250 yards through the air and a touchdown.
- Trevor used his namesake down in Jacksonville to pull out the lone draw on the Week 16 leaderboard as with the rookie bonus the Jaguars rookie paralleled Dak Prescott's 330 yards for Colin. Things went much better for Prescott's Cowboys on the field though as they blew out Washington while Jacksonville slumped back to the league's worst record.
- But even with an impressive tally of 330, neither of those men were in the stratosphere of our week's top scorer, overall leader, optimal scorer, and new top scorer for the season. Ryan hit it big with Joe Burrow pretending he was back at LSU again with 525 yards and 4 touchdowns against the Ravens. For a point of reference, Ryan also had the previous season-high with Kyler Murray in Week 2 with "just" 400 yards.
