- Regrettably, we had a second straight week where a quarterback's day was cut short by a blow to the head leaving them under 100 yards. After his wife suffered that fate last week with Teddy Bridgewater, it was Matt S.'s turn this week with Daniel Jones against the Cowboys. If you didn't see what happened you obviously did not watch the game because they showed the replay just a shade under 4267 times.
- After his breakout performance against the Titans to net the Jets' first win of 2021, it was back to the bottom of the barrel for Zach Wilson in jolly ol' London. Even with the rookie boost, he had the lowest non-injury total of the week (242) against the Falcons and didn't get the ball in the end zone once. It was whatever the opposite of music to the ears is for Scott, Greg, and Kait.
- The only other QB to see multiple selections was Washington's Taylor Heinicke (Matt F./Ryan) coming off a stellar showing against the Falcons. It wasn't a repeat showing against the Saints with Heinicke throwing for just 248 yards, no touchdowns, and two picks.
- Since most of these bullet points are interwoven with the Falcons, it is fitting that the only player picked to go above 300 yards and take home top score was Atlanta's Matt Ryan. The Jets provided little resistance for Al and Colin's selection at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as he ended with 342 yards and two touchdowns to no interceptions.
- All of us picked players on Sunday, but if we would have waited until Monday Night Football we could have had a chance at the optimal top score. Lamar Jackson's 442 yards against the Colts in an overtime win was the best that could have been done and I don't want to talk about it anymore.
