- It was a week to forget for our running backs as none of the six selected broke 50 yards on the ground.
- Similarly to Kadarius Toney in the Receiving Corps Challenge, we found a fairly unassailable floor in the RB By Committee Pick One in Week 3. Ryan's pick Clyde Edwards-Helaire did get into the end zone for the Chiefs in their loss to the Colts, but ended with zero yards on seven carries.
- Chicago ran for 281 yards in a win over the Texans. The bad news for the Bears, and Scott, was that starter David Montgomery only had 11 of those yards on 3 carries before leaving the game with an ankle injury.
- The prevailing though is that Joe Mixon would get plenty of work once the Bengals put up a sizable figure on the Jets. However much to Buddy and Trevor's chagrin, backup running back Samaje Perine nearly doubled Mixon's production on the ground (47 to 24) as the Pro Bowler rested his ailing ankle late on.
- Antonio Gibson scored Washington's only touchdown in a game that won't have much other significance in the heads of fans going forward. In the Pick One, Gibson's 38 yards was enough to push Jeff into first place as the first man to break 200 total rushing yards for the season.
- Right behind him in the standings is our top scorer for the week Rachel with Philadelphia's Miles Sanders. Joining Jalen Hurts at the top of their respective Challenge leaderboards for Week 3, Sanders had 46 yards on 15 carries.
- Driving the dagger in even further given the week's events for Scott is that the man who came in for Montgomery against Houston ended up being the optimal scorer for the week. Second year man Khalil Herbert had 157 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Bears win.
