- Thankfully for the first time this season no participant fell below the 200 passing yards threshold.
- However, there does need to be someone sitting on that low bar and for Week 3 it was Jeff with Atlanta's Marcus Mariota. The Falcons QB probably won't be bothered too much as his club were able to beat the Seahawks in the Battle of the Birds, but for Pick One purposes he only contributed 229 yards to the cause.
- Houston's Davis Mills wasn't able to get his first win of the season and he wasn't able to keep Ryan atop the QB Club standings either. His 245 passing yards against the Bears dropped our Week 1 and 2 leader into second place.
- Al probably responded with a shrug to Kirk Cousins' playing version of "You like that?" in Week 3 against the Lions. The Vikings QB had 260 yards with his arm in the divisional win.
- The Sieczkiewicz's finished within two yards of each other in Week 3, both backing AFC South quarterbacks who beat AFC West opposition. Trevor Lawrence's Jaguars had the better overall performance on the field but Ryan Tannehill and the Titans helped Matt best Brittany by a 264-262 margin in the Challenge.
- After being completely picked out last season, Joe Burrow began his 2022 Pick One campaign with 275 yards for Buddy as the Bengals coasted past the Jets. It was Buddy's third straight week with three TD's, a big help if things come down to the almighty tiebreaker.
- Jared Goff is already 2/3 of the way to his usage from last season after being picked by Colin in Week 3. Our current resident just above the basement got his first touchdown (and interception) of the season and a healthy 277 yards from the Lions quarterback after two weeks under 200.
- Rachel got her highest output of 2022 thus far with 303 yards from Las Vegas' Derek Carr. He could have had a chance for more in overtime had the Raiders completed a two-point conversion in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.
- For a third straight week the Ravens became a haven for passing yards. This time it was Trevor's selection Mac Jones who threw for a season-high 321 yards (and three costly INT's) against Baltimore before hopping off the field injured.
- Our new game leader is Scott after 325 yards from Seattle's Geno Smith. The "Geno Smith starting in 2022" memes have been thrown in our face, at least from a Pick One perspective, after two sub-200 yard games in Weeks 1 & 2.
- But our top scorer of the week was Lenny via Philadelphia's Jalen Hurts. Normally a candidate for the potential rushing yard addition, Hurts was all about his arm against the Commanders throwing for 340 yards and 3 touchdowns in a decisive win.
- Optimally, while he may have needed a weekly-high 63 attempts to do it, Buffalo's Josh Allen was the only man to hit the 400 yard milestone against Miami hitting that number directly on the button in defeat.
