- Nobody truly bottomed out in the RB By Committee Challenge in Week 8, but we clearly did have a player that did wonders for half of the field.
- Rachel figured that Buffalo would have the game in hand late on against Green Bay on Sunday Night Football. This would of course mean Devin Singletary would get plenty of work to run out the clock. While the Bills did win comfortably, the Bills main rusher only had 14 carries on the night for the low mark of the week of 67 yards.
- The rookie bonus helped elevate Buddy out of that bottom spot with Seattle's Kenneth Walker III. Our second different rookie of the season (Houston's Dameon Pierce being the other) ran for 51 yards and a touchdown in a win over the Giants but that first-year bump put him on a score of 81 in the end.
- For most weeks, what Ryan got from Carolina's D'Onta Foreman would be more than enough to overwhelmingly take home the top score. 118 yards and three touchdowns against Atlanta was only good for second place in Week 8 though.
- That is because Derrick Henry went full Derrick Henry in Ryan Tannehill's absence against the Texans. Toting the ball 32 times with rookie Malik Willis under center, Henry ran for 219 yards, far and away the best total of 2022, giving huge boosts to backers Jeff, Scott, and Trevor. It goes without saying that Henry's performance was also the optimal total for Week 8. Only Ryan has Henry left at his disposal for the remainder of the season.
