- There was always going to be a bit of a New England bias around these parts, but the expectation for rookie usage thus far would not have been through two weeks: Mac Jones 5, Field 0. Despite pummeling the Jets, Jones came back down to Earth a bit this week with many a short field as Al, Colin, and Greg only got 236 (186+50 bonus) from New England's first round pick.
- The Pats' former QB Tom Brady found himself in a bit of a struggle with Atlanta before the Tampa Bay defense broke the Falcons' spirit and allowed TB12 to put the nail in the coffin. Scott would have probably liked for Brady to outgain Matt Ryan (Brittany's selection) in this one, but those five touchdowns and no interceptions will be crucial in any tiebreaker situation and we have A LOT of games to go.
- Along with Matt Ryan who hit the mark on the nose, only two other selected quarterbacks broke the 300 yard mark for the week. One was Matt S.'s selection of Ryan Tannehill. After disappointing in Week 1, Tannehill went for 347 in Tennessee's overtime win over the Seahawks. No touchdowns is a bit of a drag but no interceptions isn't.
- For the second straight week, Ryan takes home top score going away. This time he did it with the highest score you could have earned with Kyler Murray's 400 yard performance against the Vikings, outdueling his selection from last week, Kirk Cousins.
