Just call me the conductor of the Giancarlo Stanton train. Two consecutive days with hits and the next stop is the Wade LeBlanc station. I'll grant the distant relative of Joey Tribbiani this: Stanton was 0-for-3 against him in their previous showdown. Those were better times as the Angels' starter now sports a rancid 7.36 ERA and will get his soft junk mashed to pieces by Giancarlo the Great. As all five of you who read this will remember (at least I hope so it was two days ago), my first pairing with the almighty Stanton was Miguel Cabrera. Today I pair him with another M. Cabrera, Melky. Not only is he facing the carton of spoiled milk known as Clay Buchholz, he is part of one of the more idiotic videos I have viewed. Take that note from someone who has logged more hours on Youtube than probably anybody else I know. At least we now know he likeada woman. And peanuts.
Fuck Manchester United. The best streak I've had in over six months is dead because Loser Van Gaal and his moronic defensive system couldn't stop friggin' Sunderland. They were lucky to escape the Stadium of Light with a point but the only other thing they gained was the first induction of the Streaking In Public era into the "I Hate You Entirely Because Of Streak For The Cash" Hall of Fame. I've hated Manchester United, being a Liverpool supporter, since I started watching European football but now they are on my shitlist for a totally different reason. Eat my asshole you Manc twats. All hope is lost (the leader has hit 25) but I am not shutting it down for August. I still want that blue star. I will be going for a double shot of women's tennis with Simona Halep losing fewer games and Venus Williams winning at least one set 6-3 or 6-2. I can't bring myself to pick Liverpool at 3. The potential to jinx them is too high. My pick for tonight is Tanner Roark and the Washington Nationals (currently at 98.3% picked) to beat AJ Burnett and Philadelphia. Ugh, fuck Man U. Shout out to Seattle though for putting me back on the green side of things.
