October is finally here! With the turn of the calendar page, I again take my run at the top of the Leaderboard. Today the Streakmaster gave us the Streakers a couple of slam dunk picks, or so I think. There must be some precedent for the prop of a 1st half penalty kick goal in the Arsenal/Galatasaray Champions League match to exist. All I am asking from the Super Lig runner-ups is if you are going to be undisciplined, do it in the second half. As for my second pick, I have never been more sure of a pick in my Streaking career outside of the freebies that are given out every so often. Andrew McCutchen is 2-for-10 lifetime against Wild Card opposing starter Madison Bumgarner. Both of those hits are singles. I highly doubt that will change in his first plate appearance tonight as Pittsburgh and San Francisco collide.
Since the Beat The Streak entries will be sporadic throughout the month, I figured I would add a little something to these Streaking In Public articles. Every shitty rock station has their own Rocktober. I nearly hurled with every mention of Colorado's Rocktober run to the World Series in 2007. Nevertheless, Streaking In Public is going to have their own Rocktober. Accompanying every set of Streak picks will be a classic Rock promo from the WWF/E. Finally! The Rock has come back to...well he isn't back because he's never been here. Enjoy the beginning of our Rocktober with a classic from the Great One.
