Another day, another batch of disappointment. Paul Goldschmidt kept me at zero in Beat The Streak while I picked the wrong Clipper on Drive To The Finals. The only thing I can do is get back up on the proverbial horse and get streaking again. Ugh, positivity is so cheesy.
I continue with first basemen today on Beat the Streak. I really don't know why I don't pick Adrian Gonzalez every day as he is just on the tuttle fire. For those not in the know, that means he is doing really well. I may have just jinxed it today though as I am putting my fantasy stink on it. Sorry El Titan. He's being paired up in a double down with Reds slugger Joey Votto. I am picking these two because they not only have good career numbers against their opposing pitchers, Ryan Vogelsong for Gonzalez and Kyle Lohse for Votto, said pitchers both sport ERAs over 10.00. This can't go wrong right?
Yesterday, I was teetering between picking Chris Paul and Blake Griffin. I chose the former only to see the ginger Kia selling machine put up a triple double. A 36 PRA performance from Paul isn't terrible but I don't think Griffin has another game like that in him against the Spurs. My pick today is the Bucks' Khris Middleton. It came down to Middleton and Tyreke Evans for me. If my history is doomed to repeat itself, Evans is due for the game of his life tonight. HAPPY STREAKING EVERYBODY!!
