Let me first say that last's night's AFTER DARK streak session will be the last of its kind. There is going to have to be some pretty special circumstances for its resurrection but I think the Buffalo Bills and Golden State Warriors killed the concept thoroughly. I commend you if you were able to sit through the National Fixed League presents Thursday Night Football last evening. From what I listened to, saw in passing, and read from analysts, it was easily the poorest played and officiated game of 2014. Bravo Buffalo and Miami, you turned a turd of a game into a flaming bag of shit. As for my other pick on AFTER DARK, the Golden State Warriors -9.5 essentially, it was just as annoying. Every time it looked like Golden State was going to pull away and cruise to a 17 or 18 point win, Steve Kerr would make substitutions that would just murder momentum and Brooklyn would go on a run. Granted Kerr probably couldn't give even the smallest sliver of a shit about my Streak picks, but he should. I have nothing more to expound upon there. Care about me Steve Kerr!
Today I once again try my luck at two picks, one in the start of the afternoon and one at night (even though night technically starts at 4 PM these days). Let me start by assuring you that there will not be a repeat of the Brazil debacle of two days ago as I have already made sure to go back and click my earlier pick after doing the screengrabs. Fool me once. Today's early pick is Poland. The Robert Lewandowski express heads to Georgia today, the country not the state, for another Euro 2016 Qualifying match. The Poles made history in this group by beating Germany for the first time in 19 tries before drawing with Scotland. Georgia's one win in Group D is against minnows Gibraltar. Ireland and Poland both dropped touchdowns on Gibraltar but the Georgians were only able to put three past them. I expect the Bayern Munich man Lewandowski, the leading scorer in qualifying so far, to score at least once for Polska to win easily.
My second pick of the evening is the Denver Nuggets to beat the Indiana Pacers. How the Pacers have three wins right now is absurd. Miami should be ashamed of their loss the other night, especially only managing 75 points against a team that starts Donald Freakin' Sloan! Denver isn't off to a good start themselves, they are just 1-6 and haven't won since opening night, but I feel Indiana is the team they need to face to break their six game slide. Denver's big problem has been giving up a ton of points. Indiana can't score. It is a matchup that I feel the Nuggets can exploit and will ruin many a Streaker's day as 2.1% picks. I for one won't be one of the ruined. HAPPY STREAKING EVERYBODY!!
