I'm in a crummy mood with the exit of my Los Angeles Dodgers from the MLB Postseason yesterday evening. Needless to say some venting is in the cards, but I have an article brewing on that front for tomorrow. So instead I'll do a couple "woo-sa's" and say a few "Serenity Now"s and focus on the positives of this evening. The NHL is back! I am still a newbie in my fandom of the sport but the NHL's return is a welcome distraction from the latest Dodgers disappointment coupled with the impending sulking that will come from watching the New York Knicks play. There is a four game slate this evening on the NHL's Opening Night. I am going with the Boston Bruins to beat the Philadelphia Flyers at home. The reigning Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings were tempting but the San Jose Sharks are always meddlesome in my Streaking endeavors so the B's get my backing. Ugh, just seeing that picture of Matt Carpenter smiling makes me want to punch through my computer screen. Better just finish this up and publish it then. But wait, I almost forgot about Rocktober! Speaking of forgetting, I want to forget about yesterday. What does The Rock want to forget about, other than the tassles from yesterday? I'd say his time as Flex Kavana would be pretty high on that list. HAPPY STREAKING EVERYBODY!!
