After spending the majority of my day looking for a new car, quite the exhausting task when you are dirt poor like myself, I have concocted the latest edition of Streaking In Public for you! It is going to be a quick hitter today since I am on a work computer and the Giants/Nationals game starts in roughly a half hour.
Mike Trout and Albert Pujols may have each homered last night, but it wasn't enough to keep the Royals from upending the Angels. Due to that fact, I have lost 2/5th of my Beat the Streak Playoffs roster. In more cheery news, the Angels' loss put me up to a W5 on Streak for the Cash. I am hoping that today I can use the same formula to once again destroy one of my entries for the betterment of the other. I am picking Madison Bumgarner and the Giants to complete the sweep of the Nationals in Game 3 of their National League Division Series affair this afternoon. If they are victorious, it will leave me at a W6 and erase Anthony Rendon from my BTS roster. It is a sacrifice I am willing to make since with the Angels' departure for all intensive purposes kills my chances at the Postseason BTS prize. Hopefully my entire roster is wiped out when the Dodgers win Game 3 tonight and Game 4 tomorrow in St. Louis. If not, I will be having a funeral for both the Dodgers season and another Streak gone too soon. Speaking of funerals, today's Rocktober video is a good-un. Harken back to the Raw before Backlash 1999, when The Great One eulogized the life and career of Stone Cold Steve Austin. Not many people can pull of the blazer with no shirt look like The Brahma Bull. HAPPY STREAKING EVERYBODY!
