Streak for the Cash was very naughty yesterday. Said treachery will mean that game will be on timeout for the rest of June. That just leaves me Beat the Streak for the moment, with a double down here and there.
Yesterday Adam Jones didn't participate in the embarrassing loss at the hands of the Phillies. To make up for it, I am picking another player against the Phillies today. Matt Carpenter of the Cardinals gets what I feel is an easy assignment. The last time we saw today's starter for Philadelphia, Phillippe Aumont, on an MLB mound it wasn't pretty. Eight hits and six earned runs in two innings against the Nationals left a pungent stink on an already stinky season. Carpenter has never faced the Canadian draft bust, but I'm sure he's going to love his first time. HAPPY STREAKING EVERYBODY!!!!
