This month started off so well. It looks like May wants to end the polar opposite for me. Another day, another batch of bad results for me on Streaking In Public. A collective 0-fer on Beat The Streak, a second half meltdown on Streak for the Cash, and my worst output ever on Drive To The Finals were the "highlights" of my day. Before I get any more sullen, let's get to the picks.
I'm not sure why Bryce Harper hasn't become my new Adrian Gonzalez yet. Maybe I am still a bit gun shy because of how the Adrian Era ended here on Streaking In Public, but the Nationals' slugger has been money for me in May. I'll be teaming him up today with Brandon Belt. Belt may seem a pick out of left field but it is more me picking on old Kyle Kendrick again as he is Belt's opposing pitcher today. Angel Pagan is the "expert" pick today from San Francisco, but his current 1-for-16 (.063) run against Kendrick scared me off. The Killer B's for a killer W2 please!
Zwolle left me zwollen after their second half collapse against Vitesse in my early Streak for the Cash pick yesterday. I headed into the evening on an L6, my worst mark of 2015. Nevertheless, I got back up on the horse and got back in the green through a bravissimo performance from Alex Colome and the Tampa Bay Rays. I'll stay in Tampa tonight for my lone streak pick. I should be picking more but the leader this month is on a W29 and looks insurmountable. Lightning score first tonight, and I have W2's across the board.
Even with all my losses in the other two games, my most disappointing performance yesterday came from Corey Brewer on Drive To The Finals. The third choice among pickers in the game, Brewer registered a fucking 4 PRA! DeMarre Carroll doubled that and he left Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals hurt! It is my fault for wasting all my quality Rockets in the choke job of a series the Clippers put forth, but I expected at least a continuance of double digits from Brewer. If I don't get at least 20 PRA from tonight's pick, Al Horford, I'll probably just quit Drive To The Finals altogether out of shame. HAPPY STREAKING EVERYBODY!!!
