- Boston and Phoenix now find themselves on the brink of elimination after Philadelphia and Denver won their Conference Semi-Final Game 5's respectively.
- If you didn't pick a Philadelphia player on the night, you were most likely disappointed with the results. If you were Ryan, you once again ended up with a visit from BLANK.
- Our two lowest non-zero scorers of the night didn't even combine to best the evening's bronze medalist. Al's pick, Boston's Malcolm Brogdon (14), and Lou's selection, Phoenix's Cameron Payne (13), could not stave off defeat in their Game 5's.
- Not only was it all Sixers on the medal stand, all three were making their final appearances in the 2022-23 Pick One Challenge. Bringing home that aforementioned bronze was Matt with Tobias Harris. After disappearing in Game 4, albeit in a win, Harris went for 28 PRA in Game 5 against the C's.
- Coming back down to Earth significantly, but still nearly triple-doubling, was Colin's pick James Harden. He finished with 35 PRA in the series shifter.
- But taking home the top score with his best game of the series was Trevor's selection Tyrese Maxey. 30 of his 40 PRA came from points as Philly will look to go home and close out Boston in Game 6.
- Optimally, only Al could have capitalized on Nikola Jokic's historic triple-double which would have been worth a hefty 54 PRA to the cause.
