Yesterday saw me go 2-2. That's not a bad effort but the two games I lost saw two of the league's young upstart guards leave with injuries. Ricky Rubio and Marcus Smart both suffered ankle injuries in their respective games leading to my defeats. Well, OK Boston and Indiana were definitely going over the 191.5 combined points regardless but I like to have scapegoats when I can. Though the C's and Naptown couldn't come through on the over/under, I have a new favorite team in that medium, B-B-B-Boogie and the Kings! Overs all day with Sac-Town! Except today because they aren't playing. In the spreadiverse, Rubio's injury actually impacted the T'Wolves. Once their enigmatic point guard got stretchered off the floor, Minnesota never recovered and lost bad to Orlando. I am going to be staying away from Minny for as long as Rubio is out. They may play better over time but seeing a team lose one player and just pull a complete 180 like that doesn't get my trust. In the other game, Utah reverted back to being Utah as Dallas covered the four points with ease. My four picks tonight will use the same two spread, two over/under format. I'm aiming to obviously do better than even tonight. Lucky for me I have my dud teams to help me, including the Rubio-less Timberwolves and my putrid Knicks. On to the picks!
