When it rains it pours here in the Bleeding Your Colors pickisphere. I went 0-2 last night with one pick coming oh so close while the other was anything but. The nail biter was between the Kings and the Mavericks. The Kings controlled the first half and the over looked to be a lock. I should have known better. Once again, the Kings offense vanished in the second half and I was left wanting as the two combined to fall just a single solitary point under a push. Two offensive fouls for the Kings and two horrendous three pointers from the Mavericks on their last four combined possessions was just salt in the wounds. This time I mean it Sacramento, you're dead to me. The other game saw Toronto have to put on their rally George Costanza glasses on a la Drake to avoid an embarrassing loss to the Magic. Needless to say, they did not cover the double digit spread I though they would.
Instead of just picking two games again and hoping I can level my record again, I am picking four games tonight in hopes that I can get my head above water. Two will be picked with the spread and two with the over/under. I am confident about my fearsome foursome. The only one I am a bit iffy about is Houston laying just a miniscule 5.5 points versus the Rubio-less Timberwolves. I know the game is in Mexico City but the talent gap between the two teams is as wide as the Rio Grande. With the spread being so low, it just feels like a trap. I'm going to put my foot in the snare anyways. On to the picks!
