I think I'd be understating it a bit if I said that last night's picks didn't go so well. I said yesterday that in eliminating two picks from my consistent 2-2 days, I'd be ridding myself of the two losses. Let's just say that was a miscalculation. I shed the two wins and replaced them with two hot piles of California disappointment and a .500 record for 2014. On one end, the Hornets looked sluggish as they plodded along in a losing effort against the previous winless Lakers. Bill Simmons had an interesting query as to what caused the Hornets' horrid play.
I don't know Bill but I do know one thing, your boy Boogie and the Kings got some splainin' to do! The Kings not only kamikazed my Streak (OK it was already at an L3 but still...) they lost my trust as an instant over against the MASH unit known as the Oklahoma City Thunder. At one point, Sebastian Telfair was their leading scorer! I ONCE BLOCKED HIM AT A BASKETBALL CAMP! THIS WILL NOT STAND SACRAMENTO! YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN SEATTLE!!!!!!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE FUCKING SONICS!!!!!! Whoa, that escalated a bit quicker than I imagined. Let me just get to the picks before there is another outburst. I have once again made just two picks, one spread and one over/under, but I am not going to make the same moronic proclamation that I made a day ago. Oh no, I feel more hatred bubbling up. On to the picks!!
