Bullying is no good. Be a STAR. My constant picking on the Utah Jazz blew up in my face last night as they pummeled the Suns. It was quite the turn of events led by a career game from Derrick Favors. Not all my regular targets fought back yesterday. I can focus all my swirlies on Orlando who once again suffered defeat to Toronto. Nerds! Those two were normal picks for me though. The one where I went off script was with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The depleted Thunder were 6 point dogs at home to the Nuggets. No Westbrook, no KD, no Reggie Jackson, easy win right? Of course not. Who knew Kendrick Perkins had a pulse, never mind the ability to score 17 points? They were even able to win by 11 with a 1-for-10 from Bassy Telfair, a player who I once blocked a shot of...in basketball camp...nearly twenty years ago. It is still probably my greatest athletic achievement ever outside of beating both Al Skinner and Cuttino Mobley in a game of Knockout at that same camp. What the fuck happened to me since then? I've really fallen apart. Before this trip down memory lane gets any more depressing, on to the picks!
