Last night was another 1-1 evening in which the game I lost had some amazing basketball played in it while the game I won with was god awful. The Pelicans weren't able to cover six points against Cleveland but I didn't even care as Anthony Davis and LeBron James traded blows like heavyweight prize fighters in a 118-111 Cavs win. There may be trouble in LeBronadise, Kevin Love is rumored to be a cinch to opt out after this year, but the Brow looks to be on the verge of hoisting the Pellies to relevance. I shall not be deterred from picking New Orleans in the future because of this game. The other game was a snoozefest between Utah and Indiana. Gordon Hayward led all scorers with 30 for the Jazz, but let me put Indiana's current roster in perspective for you real quick. AJ Price was their second leading scorer and he's on a 10 DAY CONTRACT. A 10 day contract they only received because of injury hardship waivers. Ugh, Indiana, ugh. Tonight's picks feature some returning cast members.
I see you Orlando, looking all horrible. I'm going to give you some run tonight against Toronto. I got the Drakes laying 11.5 against you though. Sorry to get your hopes up. In the other game, here is your chance at redemption Sacramento. You broke my heart the other night but now you need to prove you can run with the big dogs. Or at least score a lot of points with the big dogs. Just don't wear Big Dogs t-shirts, those went out of style in 1998. I'm kidding they were never in style.
