While the first day of the BYC picks format change was good for hockey, the second clearly was anything but. I went 1-2 with my lone win coming on a backdoor cover in the Red Wings/Rangers contest. Once again Buffalo besmirched me as Montreal needed the shootout to down the lowly Sabres. The thing that hurts me the most is that the Ducks let me down. A steady force in both my daily picks as well as on Streak for the Cash, the Ducks were my rock. They were the team I could always count for when I needed a big losing streak in either medium snapped. Now after they couldn't force their will upon the Islanders to break the 5.5 goal threshold, I don't know what to do. Therefore I will mirror my NBA picks in the NHL tonight with just one spread and one over/under from the ten available games. Hopefully I can get this ship righted by the weekend and be over .500 come next week. On to the picks!
