I was so close to having my first perfect pick day yesterday. Detroit covered against Boston and Arizona was victorious against Edmonton. The lone blemish on my record was the Blackhawks losing to the Flames in overtime. I am not as angry as I should be on that front due to the fact that Flames keeper Jonas Hiller stopped an astounding 49 shots in their win. If I'm going down, at least it is a herculean effort sending me there. There is a seven game slate today and I am confident that I will keep myself above .500 during my stint in Hawaii, unless more Hiller-esque performances happen.
