I finally did it! After less than a week of arduousness, I finally reached the summit known as...level. Now that I am at the .500 mark, I don't feel that it is as much of an accomplishment as I did when I was chasing it. After being so bad at picking this sport for so long, I seem to have replaced success with mediocrity. It is a slippery slope before I start having the same views in real life. Therefore, I am not going to rest on my laurels of level pegging and strive for bigger and better things from myself the NHL handicapper and myself the person. Well at least one or the other, can't be heaping on too much pressure on myself. I will be once again picking two games tonight, one spread and one over/under, because there are just two games on the NHL schedule this evening. Bruins/Devils has some juice especially in the area of the country I am in. It also gets ramped up when you have one friend (BYC podcaster Lou) who lives and dies with the Devs and one (NFL picker Josh) who is of the same mindset with the B's. I am also looking forward to my second ever under pick after last night's Rangers/Oilers victory. On to the picks!!
